An Evening Under the Stars will take place on Saturday 18 February, 2017 at the Unley Soldiers Memorial Gardens. The event this year will be hosted by Channel 9 personality, and Adelaide style icon, Jessica Braithwaite.

“The musical theme is year is “Italian Crooners”, with internationally acclaimed headline act Tony Pantano singing some great classics on the night. We’re now in our sixth year, and we want to see as many South Australians at this event, so we can thank them for supporting small, local, and family-run businesses”, Stephen Finos, Vice  Chairman of the Unley Road Association.

“Popular South Australian talents Antonio Villano, Kate Lara Villano and their band are also back again, after their incredible performance last year, and will be accompanied by the 75 Westminster School Senior Vocal Ensemble.”

Free children’s activities, along with budget-friendly refreshments from local Unley Road businesses will also be available for purchase on the evening from 7pm.

The official event charity partner is Make A Wish, and volunteers from the charity will be collecting gold coin donations and running a sausage sizzle on the evening, with all proceeds going to help fulfil the wishes of terminally ill children.

  1. Am interested in all the programs you put on

    1. Thank you Theresa! We love putting on An Evening Under the Stars as it gives the South Australian community a free night of entertainment and fun. We’re so lucky to have the support of our major sponsors: the City of Unley, Channel 9, and many Unley Road businesses, including Pink Carat Jewellery, Chique Cosmedical Skin & Body Solutions and The Dripclub. See you on Saturday!

  2. We intend coming to this wonderful event on Saturday night – just love the line-up of entertainment.
As this is our first expereince can you please advise the following: 1, Is alcohol permitted? and 2, Do we need to bring our own chairs? Would appreciate your advices

    1. Hello Geoff! We’re looking forward to having you along on Saturday! We will have some chairs out for people to use, but you’re most welcome to bring your own! BYO alcohol is perfectly acceptable (we have a few bottle shops on Unley Road – Booze Brothers, First Choice, Thirsty Camel and BWS), and you may want to bring a nice blanket as it will get chilly when the sun goes down.
