A Taste of Unley Road 2016 also sees the return of the popular and free community concert event, An Evening Under the Stars 2016.

An Evening Under the Stars will take place on Saturday 6 February, 2016 at the Unley Soldiers Memorial Gardens. The event this year has a “Family” theme and everyone is welcome to attend.

“We’re now in our fifth year, and we want to see as many South Australians at this event, so we can thank them for supporting small, local, and family-run businesses”, Stephen Finos, Vice Chairman of the Unley Road Association.

“Popular South Australian talents Vogue Duo and their band are back again, after their incredible performance last year, and will be accompanied by a 75 member Westminster School Senior Vocal Ensemble.”

Budget-friendly and delicious refreshments including cold rolls, curries, Vietnamese coffee and cakes from local Unley Road businesses will also be available for purchase on the evening.

The official event charity partner is ‘Soldier On’, and volunteers will be running a sausage sizzle on the evening, with all proceeds going to helping rehabilitate wounded members of the Australian armed forces.
