Unley Road’s Bendigo Bank have partnered with St John Ambulance SA (located just off Unley Road on Edmund Ave) to help them raise funds for their volunteers. Kylie Harmer, Branch Manager of Bendigo Bank, Unley Road (and member of the Unley Road Association Committee) shares her thoughts about this partnership:

Bendigo

At Bendigo Bank, we believe that for us to be successful, our customers and communities need to be successful first.

With this in mind, Bendigo Bank and St John Ambulance SA announced their partnership and launch of the Volunteer for a Volunteer campaign on 4 February 2016.

This campaign has been launched to allow Bendigo Bank branches to raise funds for the volunteers of their local St John Ambulance SA divisions.

Joe Formichella, Bendigo BankState Manager SA/NT, said “by partnering with St John, and with the generosity of the South Australian public, we hope that Volunteer for a Volunteer will enable them to continue their valuable work.”

The Unley division of volunteers hopes to raise enough funds to purchase another defibrillator to complete one of the medical kits they use when volunteering their time attending events, for the benefit of their community and those attending the event.

These volunteers are our local heroes and need your support!

So come into Bendigo Bank Unley and find out how you can make a difference and support the volunteers who support the Unley community.
